nebraska and Lord Nelson
Hi! My name is Loyal and I am a 64 year old retired male high school teacher. I'm a relatively conservative moderate. I spent 30 wonderful years as a secondary social studies teacher. I miss teaching and interacting with others. Am hoping that blogging might help me fill that void. Recently I sent a message to Senator Nelson of Nebraska. I questioned the the tactics he used in making his voting decision. I wondered if it would be illegal for a mob boss to buy a senator's vote in which the decisions would adversely affect a part of our society. Is it or should it be illegal for one state(nebraska with a little n)to tax Missouri by not paying a tax while my state and all others pay for services (Health care) that are received by Nebraskans? What part of equality and fair play does this equate to? I suggested that Mr Nelson read, if he has not, or reread if he has, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States. They are a pretty good read and a significant part of what this nation is about. I have personally decided never to travel through or to Nebraska if this feature of the health care vote stands with the joint committees. Woe is me for I will have to give up the marvelous store in Sidney, Nebraska. My loving wife might jump for joy. Wonderful citizens of the great state of Nebraska raise your state to a big "N". Don't be part of Nelson's unjust vote. What do you think out there?

I have the world's best daughter.
You may think you, in fact, have the world's best daughter, but you are wrong.
I do.
I do.
